A few years ago we purchased one of Millinocket's' oldest homes and
refurbished it with
you in mind. It is a one and a half story home
with a Kitchen, Dining Room, Living Room, Bath and three Bedrooms
that comfortably sleeps 4, with cots available upon request.
The home is still in its' original early 1900's design, complete with original wood finish, windows and hand carved stairway. In 2003 the house was completely refurbished on the inside with all new walls and ceilings and wall to wall carpeting on all floors except kitchen and bath. These rooms have had a facelift as well and have all new linoleum coverings on them.
As each room was remodeled the utmost care was taken maintain the atmosphere and beauty placed there by the original craftsmen.

The kitchen is not original 1900 design, instead it is 1940 vintage as far as we can tell. The cupboards are all metal, a very unique style of yesteryear. However the kitchen has all the modern conveniences; stove, refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster and microwave oven. Cookware, tableware are all included should you decide to fix your own meals or eat out, the choice is yours.
We supply everything from linens to cable TV., DVD player and VCR.... you're presence is all that is needed to make your stay a comfortable and memorable experience.
We think you will be so comfortable you will want to extend your stay in our small town and explore all that Northern Maine has to offer.
We have priced this house to be competitive with some of the area hotels until demand for this "Home away from Home" force prices to increase. Until then the entire house can be yours for $89 per night or $400 per week (taxes not included).
