Dale has been a resident of Millinocket and the Katahdin Region
for over forty-five years. He brings with him many years
of experience, and knowledge of the local wildlife and the area. Dale has
sixteen years of experience as a Professional Photographer and many more as an amateur.
His love for the outdoors and the area and it's wildlife is matched only by his
desire to make your trip as friendly, personal and memorable as possible.
These Safaris have been offered for the last eight years and have had
hundreds of satisfied customers. As the years passed experience has been
our teacher and our success record speaks for itself.
Vicki is a professional photographer who's services we
have been fortunate to enlist for the last several years. Vicki is not
from the area but has lived here since 1998 and has taken up residence with the area
moose. She is a very fine photographer as well as an advocate and
student of area wildlife. While here you will find her photos and cards
in local shops and places of business. She has become very knowledgeable
of the moose and other area wildlife though moose are her favorite
subject. When she is not guiding our guests she can be found in the woods
photographing or just "hanging out" with Maine wildlife. Vicki is the
life of the party and is sure to "entertain" even the shyest visitors.
Robin is not a lifelong resident of this area, but she has lived here for the past 20 years. She studied at the University of Maine and graduated with a four-year degree in Parks and Recreation Management.
After working in that field for several years she decided working with children
was more to her liking so she re-entered school and obtained a teaching degree.
After working several years as a director of an area pre school she decided to
try her hand at American Sign Language (no pun intended) to help those who need
help this special communication skill.
She is very knowledgeable about whitewater canoeing and kayaking. She also has experience with the area wildlife and will be able answer most questions you might have. Robin has a gentle and friendly spirit and if you are lucky enough to get her as a guide, you will understand.
She enjoys photography and owns her own photo scrapbooking business. Ask her about it and she will be more than willing to explain all about scrapbooking
